Professor Kongjian Yu untimely passing was a great loss to the profession of landscape architecture globally and to the People’s Republic of China, but to the evolving future of our planet. He was also a kind person.
In the last decade the word ‘innovation’ has been greatly overused: but Professor Yu was truly one whose work deserves to be called innovative.
This news is very sad for me and for the world as a whole.
